Nikki Silver


Nikki Silver is a multi Emmy-award winning producer who with Tonya is the founder and partner of ToniK Productions. Previously, Nikki served as president of On Screen Entertainment where her love for children literature helped her option some of the most acclaimed young adult books.    In addition to producing, MONSTER, THE GIVER and  THE WATSONS GO TO BIRMINGHAM, Nikki has produced scripted and documentary programming for several networks. include the long running and beloved PBS series, READING RAINBOW,  MIRACLES BOYS, a mini series for MTV’s The N, WHAT’s GOING ON?, a documentary series for Showtime,  and THE ZACK FILES, a live action teen comedy based on the book series of the same name for ABC Family.

NIKKI began her career at Thirteen/WNET where she worked in documentary television. Her interest in children’s television then led her to Lancit Media Entertainment, where she produced several television series including The Puzzle Place, Backyard Safari and Outward Bound.

Nikki received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. She grew up in New York City where she currently lives with her husband and three children, Harrison, Jack and Justin.
